  17. This program has been uploaded to FTPsite ab20.larc.nasa.gov 
  18. (128.155.23.64)  a while ago into the /incoming directory as 
  19. si20a.lzh'. It now resides in /amiga/utilities/system/opsys/ 
  20. as 'si20a.lzh' and is 59612 bytes in size. As of the 19th of 
  21. March the program's current (released) version is 2.0a.

  23.                       Description.

  25. System_Information is basically a (Show)Config type program.  
  26. It is however fully Intuitionized and much more versatile as  
  27. Commodore's Config program. Version 2.0a recognizes about 80  
  28. product codes and around 40 manufacturer Id's and displays a  
  29. description of these. The program consists of three modules:  
  30. - Cards      This module tells all about AutoConfig cards.  
  31. - Drives     This module tells all about mounted drives.  
  32. - SysInfo    Gives information about vectors, processortypes  
  33.              and other useful information.  
  34.   
  35. The modules contain hidden gadgets to provide even more info  
  36. about a particular card or device.  All this is explained in  
  37. the manual that comes with the program. [suffix .Guide. ;-)]

  39.                       Distribution. 
  40.   
  41. The program is ShareWare. However the version on AB20 is not  
  42. crippled or less functional than the registered version.  It 
  43. only contains a requester that reminds you it is 'ShareWare' 
  44. when you exit the program.

  46.                       Requirements. 
  47.  
  48. The program has no special requirements. It will run on most 
  49. Amiga's, including A3000, A500plus and the new A600.

  64. cards or manufacturers the program doesn't recognize so I am  
  65. able to program those in. Just use the FileIt option to dump  
  66. that particular board to a file and put a description of the  
  67. card and it's manufacturer name in there to. Then just Email
